Indicator Definitions

Total Enrollment:

Total number of enrolled public school students (PK-12).

Gender:

Percentage of enrolled public school students (PK-12) by gender (male, female).

Race & Ethnicity:

Percentage of enrolled public school students (PK-12) by race and ethnicity (Asian, Black, Hispanic, Native American, White, Other).

Grade Group:

Number of enrolled public school students by grade group. Graded Education indicates students assigned to a particular grade level. Non-Graded (Multi-Age) Education indicates students of different ages or levels of ability being taught in the same classroom for educational purposes.

Students with Disabilities:

Number of enrolled public school students (PK-12) receiving educational services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

English Language Learners:

Number of enrolled public school students (PK-12) with limited English proficiency.

Title I Schools:

Number of Title I eligible public schools (schools in which at least 40 percent of students are enrolled in Free or Reduced Lunch programs).

Economically Disadvantaged Students:

Number of enrolled public school students (PK-12) that are eligible or have received Title I services and assistance. Students can receive Title I services and assistance directly or indirectly as part of a classroom or school that has received services and assistance.

Students at Risk:

Number of enrolled public school students (PK-12) that are eligible or have received Title I services and assistance for reading, language arts, or math or have been classified as homeless or neglected. Students can receive Title I services and assistance directly or indirectly as part of a classroom or school that has received services and assistance.

Career Tech Education:

Number of enrolled public high school students in the CTE Participators Program, which includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning, problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills.

Inter-District Mobility:

Number of enrolled public school students (PK-12) who transferred to another school district during the selected school year.
